Skin salve
Put plantain, yarrow, mint, and maybe some prunella flowers in a pot. (plantain 'cause it helps heal, yarrow stops bleeding, mint for smell, and prunella flowers for helping heal and stop bleeding.) Add olive oil... as much as you want, but not above the plants. Turn stove on to low. Cook 30 min. while occasionally stirring and adjusting temperature. Make sure that the oil does not boil. Make sure all the plants get n the oil at some point. After the 30 min. get ready a strainer and a bowl and a cup. Strain the oil through. Take any plants, (in the pot?) and throw them outside. Put the oil back in the pot and then put the pot back on the stove. Again, put the stove on low and make sure it doesn't boil. Slowly add beeswax. To test if the salve is ready, drip some of the salve in a cold cup of water and pick the salve out. If it is the right consistency, take the salve of the stove and pour it into small containers, and let sit in a cold, dark place 'til you need it. Good for bug bites, cuts, and other skin things that hurt. NOTE: Do NOT put salve on hot burns because the oil will trap the heat and will not help it.
